Shawn Lee lead an amazing session!  He captured this photo!

Summer SPAC was a wonderful event!  Barksdale School Portraits were a gracious host on Friday Morning, allowing us to tour their amazing facility.  Our small groups had great dialog about many areas of the business, and ones operations!  Friday afternoon, was casual socializing at a hot spot close to the hotel!  Always great to relax and socialize together.  Saturday, full day of session packed with new information and speakers!  We thank all our speakers for their time and effort!  For those of you whom asked, yes, we will have Shawn Lee speaking at SPAC 2017!  Speaking of which, that is only 6 months away!  Look for announcements and emails early August!

Best Show Recognition!

The Annual SPAC Conference has been recognized as the leading volume School and Sports Photography Conference in the world by past attendees and now by PMA, PSPA and SPAA – Photo Marketing Association, Int.,the Professional School Photographers of America, Int. and the Sports Photographers Association of America.

After careful deliberations by Georgia McCabe, CEO, PMA and a select group of 20 industry experts convened to chart a new direction for PMA, it was decided that the greatest conference value and support for this market segment was the SPAC Conference to be held January 28 – 30th in Las Vegas, NV, and in keeping with the PMA organizational goals, a recommendation would be made that all PSPA and SPAA members be encouraged to attend.

“We are really happy to be working with SPAC,” says Georgia McCabe, CEO, PMA. “As we pull our collective creativity and efforts in the same direction, SPAC and PMA can provide so much more value to photographers than either of us could do alone.

The SPAC conference is a top-notch event, and PMA is happy to offer any help we can to make it even better. I strongly encourage all of our school and sports photographer members to attend. They will get so much out of it.”

The new PMA is focused on fiscally responsible growth for all aspects of the photography industry.

Calvin Harrell, Jr., a long time member of SPAC and a Board Member stated “The SPAC organization has endured through extreme upheaval in the industry due to the core values and commitment of the leadership team.

We welcome “working” photographers and staff from every organization and each year, companies return bringing additional staff for the wealth of information and spirit of camaraderie we have been able to foster.”

SPAC is an organization led by volunteers dedicated to the support of small and regional school and sport photographers. Participation is limited to photography companies that generate less than 25 million in annual sales. The SPAC Board welcomes all attendees that meet the membership and attendance criteria which can be found on the SPAC website  http://spac-usa.org/

**Please keep in mind this is a working copy, final sessions and descriptions coming end of November 2015**
